Windows 10: MS Calendar

MS Calendar gives error messages that it was unable to save recent entries, and sometimes entries are dropped from one boot up to the next. Also, the calendar will no longer sync from my Dell laptop to my Surface. What is the solution?

We'd like to get more information regarding the issue.

1. Current build version your Windows 10 is running,
   (Type winverinto the Cortana search box, then hit
   Enter.)?
   
2. Since when you are facing this issue?
   

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to reset the app and let us know if that helps

1. Go to Settings > System and click on
   Apps & features on the left pane.
2. Look for Mail and Calendar app entry and click one
   Advanced options.
3. Click on Reset and click on Reset on the confirmation dialog box.
4. Launch the Mail and Calendar app and log in with your credentials and check if it is working.

N8 sync with MS Outlook Calendar

mckee...thx for the tip and steps listed...worked perfectly. i now sync my calendar with oulook in seconds!

 

Mail & Calendar App


By default, M&C app will install an outlook account according to your sign in. I sign into W10 with a non MS account "---@gmail.com" so my default account is listed like this, I can't seem to straighten it out/ delete/change it. Suggestions appreciated.
