    Will my nokia Lumia 520 get windows 10 update?

    There has been no confirmation yet about which models get Windows 10 other than the Lumia 635. However, Microsoft has been working hard on making sure Windows 10 will run on devices with only 512MB of RAM, and the 520 is the most popular model of Windows
    Phone. So it's a pretty good bet the 520 will get Windows 10.

    Windows 10 is not out yet, so you can't get it.

    about my lumia 520

    Miucrosoft has excluded this phone from getting the windows 10 mobile upgrade from the first official release back in 2015.

    The 520 has only 512mb ram and all phones with only 512mb ram were excluded. the performance was not good enough to give a satisfactory experience on a 512mb ram device.

    So Microsoft has excluded these phones.

    A a result you will not get windows 10 mobile on a Lumia 520

    I'm in the 512 club, I was hoping this wouldn't happen. I have the latest insider so will just run it until I decide to get another phone. No rush since it runs great.

    MS confirms that 512MB Windows Phone devices will not get Windows 10

    Although I suppose I'll be able to continue with my current build I'm not too pleased because I bought my phone specifically because it could run Windows 10. Seems odd as I'm finding everything runs just fine. Maybe it's a marketing rather than technical decision.
