Windows 10: MS office not working

I got message on line to update windows and accordingly I updated the windows yesterday. Unfortunately my MS office

is not working today. Kindly help

Try the commands and check if the MS Office is available on your computer. Try the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R and type winword.exe
  and hit enter.
  
• 
  If MS word open up MS Office is available on the system.
  

If not, you have to install it again from the store.

I would suggest you to try following methods and check if it helps.

Issue: Cortana not working.

Method: 1

Run system file checker (SFC) and see if it helps. Please follow these steps:

a. Press Windows + X keys and click
command prompt (admin).

b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

sfc /scannow.

System file checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

If it does not help, use method 2.

Method: 2

Run DISM tool and check the issue. Please follow these steps:

a. Press Windows + X keys and click
command prompt (admin).

b. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Issue: MS office Stopped working.
