Windows 10: MS password

I recently reactivated a computer I had not used for two years. It is a good HP Envy that I bought in 2014. Win 10.


I updated everything.


Now only the fingerprint ID works to get into the computer. The PIN and password do not. I cannot change the PIN without the password, and the password doesn't work.


How do I change my password? Please advise.

You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.

Is there a trojan csrss.exe? If so how do I eliminate it.

She has changed the Google password.

Do we change her Microsoft password using her pc using the following steps?

• Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Change a password.
• Type your old password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
• Press Enter.

  Are you able to login to Windows?
  

I suggest you to again create PIN password and check if the issue persist

Follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Go to all settings.
  
• 
  Click on Accounts, under sign in options.
  
• 
  Select Add PIN and check if the helps.
