Windows 10: MS Photos, People Tags

I have been using the MS Photos app for a long time and I had not seen this issue.......but now after a clean install because of a computer crash the "People" Tab did not show the "Start Tagging" button when I first opened it and I only show a few people that have been automatically tagged by the app. I have a few thousand pictures on my computer so I know I should have more tagged than there are. Is there any way to trigger the "Start Tagging" button so it can find everyone? Thanks in advance.....

Tagging People in Windows 10 Photos app

Is it possible to tag people in photos using Microsoft Photos on Windows 10 platform? (I know you can tag generic info to the photo, but can you tag specific people?)

AND, if not, is there an app that will do this?

I loved the old MS Photo Gallery and am sad that Photos does not appear to work the same way.

People lookup slow in Photos people tagging

So I now have the People tagging feature in Win10 Photos. It did take some time for the PC to recognize the faces from my large library of photos.

Now, when I try to choose a suggestion and enter a name, the search window for People is extremely slow to load. I can sit through one name tag, but after that it basically freezes.

I have already reset the app in an attempt to fix this, and that did not work but also removed all the tags I had already laboriously completed.

I have also looked at my contacts accounts in the People app (I have a lot of contacts 5000 approx.), and ensured I had only one account active, to try to reduce the number of contacts.

Still no solution.
