Windows 10: MS Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Bundle DEFECTIVE

After several months of use the KEYBOARD IS UNUSABLE. It doesn't connect right away when I begin typing and so it misses the first few characters, it sometimes doesn't connect at all and I have to shake it, and when it does connect it often skips characters.It is DEFECTIVE! I know this because this is the second Sculpt keyboard that I have. And I have tested them both across different laptops. My original Sculpt keyboard and mouse work perfectly. The second one is driving me insane!I called several MS numbers to get WARRANTY support and the robot says go to help.microsoft.com. I cannot find an

Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Bundle

I bought a Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Bundle a little over a year ago. I've noticed that the mouse has not been working well lately (yes, I've changed the batteries) but my keyboard is great. If I were to buy a new MS ergo mouse
(like the one I have), would it work with my current fob or would I need to install 2 fobs (1 for keyboard and 1 for mouse)?

I suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Hardware
Support to know about the replacement criteria. Meanwhile, you may also go through the
Warranty Limit Manual given under Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.

I have several different sets of the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop Wireless Keyboard & Mouse. Sometimes things get mixed up, is there a way I can tell which dongle goes with which keyboard, 10-key, and mouse?
