Windows 10: MS thinks I have W8 but I have W8.1

Discus and support MS thinks I have W8 but I have W8.1 in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; Seems like I will be offered the upgrade whether I have 8 or 8.1 I wonder how many programs will continue to work.     Only Win8.1 can upgrade though WU, Win8 will have to use the ISO install media.
    *Arrow You're fine at 8.1 so no worries there.

    Users with Win8 installs might get another eMail urging them to update to 8.1 before Win10 goes live.

    If they're not listed in thopse threads, try searching the forum ... some member has probably tried those applications.

    It might be quicker if you installled them and see what happens. If one doesn't work, please post the information in one of the threads I provided.

    Win10 is a sandbox - have fun - try lots of things - let others know what you find out - don't run with scissors *Wink
