    MS Word Laggy after latest update - June 8, 2021—KB5003637


    Since the latest update, MS Word is now lagging, particularly in scrolling, with typing speed unaffected.Here is the full detail on my PC, as regards update. I am also using MS Office 2016 Full Professional.June 8, 2021—KB5003637 OS Builds 19041.1052, 19042.1052, and 19043.1052There are no further updates required, and again, the program worked flawlessly until this latest update. I also have made no other changes to the PC, for in fact, I've been out of town, and it was the last thing I did before I shut it down.Suggestions, ideas would be most welcome.     MS Word Laggy after latest update - June 8, 2021—KB5003637

    MS WORD

    I have proceeded with your suggestion of selecting the word document saved in a path and tried to select it for right clicking but miserably failed. It has not allowed me to select the word document first and windows explorer hanged circling for sometime
    and came out of explorer itself. This issue may be something different I feel. Other MS docs like excel, notepad etc are opening correctly when I double click as usual and this word document only giving problem.

    Please suggest some other workable solution.
