Windows 10: ms-wpc chrome

every time I open google chrome it says "you need an app to open this ms-wpc" any fix to this? I just got this pc and im trying to set It up

I Keep Getting A Pop-up Appear On My Screen And I Don't Know What To Do About This Problem The Pop-up Says

"You'll Need A New App To Open This Ms-wpc"

So I Don't Know How To Get Rid Of It If Anyone Thinks They Can Help Please Help

Every few seconds this error "you'll need a new app to open this ms-wpc" will pop up and not go away until I click away. I'm not sure what to do. I have tried Powershell and restarting the computer itself and deleting apps and getting different apps. But
none of it worked.

Hey, I have an issue that I'd like to get fixed.

So I just got a brand new desktop on 8-2-19, and I've been trying to install/run an app for the whole time I've had it.

My issue is that whenever I download chrome, then click to open the web browser, it immediately pops up with "You'll need a new app to open this ms-wpc" I have an option to search for an app in the appstore to open it, but whenever I do that, the appstore
says "no results found for ms-wpc"

I have tried various 'solutions' for my issue but nothing has worked. Here is what I have tried:

-Troubleshooting both chrome and the appstore

-resetting the appstore

-uninstalling, then reinstalling chrome (multiple times)

-restarting my computer

-I have tried the solution here; https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...s-ms-wpc/f21a9f4f-27d2-4750-aee4-6e252a78a75f (but it never worked, and I've tried it multiple times as well)

I'm unsure what to do at this point, in the past solutions that I've found online have usually worked. At this point I can't find anything that I haven't done yet. All I want is to be able to make chrome my default browser and actually use it.
