Windows 10: msfs settings

i'm dong the first solo in msfs and I noticed that the aircraft is difficult to manage when I checked the settings everything was set to hard. also while doing the training It never displayed how to set up the aircraft to hold altitude or speed is this suppose to be a secret? Or is this some quest that I'm to go on to find the answer? It is really starting to be frustrating to have setting change with no notification. so now I'm wondering if there are parts of the program that I may be Missing if not where do I find the information needed to fly

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
