Windows 10: MSVCP100.dll not found and MSVCP110.dll not found

Hi there,


so when i fixed my windows 10 cause of a problem i fall into a "MSVCP100.dll not found" when i try to fix it it worked!

but sadly i fell into another problem now its "MSVCP110.dll not found" i keep trying to fix it but it just didn't work. tried doing a virus scan,

tried doing stuff with the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package the previous Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package was 2012

and then i changed it to 2015, but when i did change it the "MSVCP110.dll not found appeared. I just couldn't fix it




I need help and i also don't know what category this should be in

msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll in C:\

Hello back TPU!

Yesterday I saw two files(msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll) in my C:\ disk folder. What does this mean? I know this two files should be in C:\Windows or C:\Windows\System32 or somewhere in C:\Windows but not in main disk folder. I deleted this files but files appeared again today. Is this a virus or maybe an application? How can I check this?

msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll in C:\

they are microsoft visual studio files, leave em alone.

The first method to try is to download msvcp100.dll inside Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistributable package. Follow the steps:

• Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685 and click on
  Download;
  
• In case you have 64-bit OS, check on both of the versions (x64 and x86, it’s important!), if you have 32-bit OS – check on x86 only and download it to your machine;
  
• Run vc_redist.x86.exe at first, then — vc_redist.x64.exe;
  

After the installation, now you should see msvcp100.dll and other dll in folders C:\Windows\System32\ or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.

That should help you to fix the issue.

Sometimes msvcp100.dll can be accidentally deleted by installation wizard of other app. Check if the file is located in the appropriate folder – C:\Windows\System32\ or C:\Windows\SysWOW64\.
