    I've been trying to run Civilization VI via the epic games launcher and i keep getting error messages that msvcp140 and vcruntime140 dll's aren't found. I've only had this computer a few days so i don't know yet if it's causing errors elsewhere but so far just with this program.


    I have scanned numerous online forums, tried all of the commonly suggested solutions


    ran the sfc/scannow ..... deleted and re-installed the program .... used the dism command .... re-downloaded the visual c++ redistributable but all with no luck. still getting those same errors


    Any ideas as to how to fix this?

    MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll not found

    I'm trying to get my PC up and running and have tried everything I have been able to find to get the issue corrected. However, I continue to get the popup when I attempt to download one of my games that both MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll are not found.

    I have downloaded the latest drivers for Windows 10 and all updates are current.

    I have run a Command Prompt as an administrator (sfc/scannow) and there were no issues found.

    Any suggestion on how to get this corrected would be great.

    MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing!

    Hello, I've been having quite the issue since I re-installed windows on my pc, I own a rust server, and there is a program called "Rust Admin", but to open that it says I don't have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll, even though I installed Visual C++ Redistributable
    for Visual Studio 2015. If I go to the System32 folder, I have MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll in there, so that's why I was confused, I tried re-installing the program, repairing it and even going into cmd and doing "sfc /scannow", which didn't help. I've
    scanned for malware and can't find any so I'm confused as to why it's not working. Even if I copy the 2 files to the Rust Admin folder, it says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."

    I hope we can get this problem resolved, thank you.

    Hi,

    My hard dive was not being found so I got a new hard drive and now my system is stating I have no MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll Missing / not found,

    Im not great with computers. can you help?
