Much more bsod's after windows 10 update

I already had very sporadic bsod's with my PC for a long time. My guess was the ram, but I never got round to testing it because I could go very long times without running into bsod's.

They mostly happened when the PC was idle. Sometimes while browsing, almost never while gaming.

Now I installed the latest windows 10 update and it's "bsod city". I usually can't go for more than 15 minutes without one. Sometimes a little longer, often much shorter.

    What I've tried:

    1. Test memory with windows ram test and after that with memtest via USB. Ram is fine.

    2. Did the driver verifier, got my PC crashing and had to turn it off via safe mode.

    3. Downloaded driver updating software and updated all my driver's (had a feeling I could go a little longer without bsod's, but could be a coincidence)

The blue screen is a standard kmode exception one. I've tried looking in the dumps and that pointed to ntoskrnl.exe so that's not really anything I can use either.

Can I try anything else before I have to do a fresh install of windows 10? I really hope I can avoid that.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
