Windows 10: multi display settings win10

Hello. From few days im trying to work out how to change display numbers. External screen is always 1 and main monitor always 2 so there is issue of windows+p switching. internal is tv and external as pc monitor. tried to turn it on only with pc monitor then coming up as screen one but since I plug tv into hdmi, windows is sticking monitor as 2 and tv as 1, tried reinstalling nvidia drivers, even uninstalling hp monitor software. still no luck.

at the moment need to remove hdmi cable from onkyo everytime I switch on tv because windows is assigning tv as the main one and removing every icon from hp screen. but then I have no sound in onkyo.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

To reset the settings back to default, follow these steps:

• Go to your desktop, right click and select Display Settings.
• Choose the appropriate settings from the options under Display.

Let us know if the above steps resolved the issue.
