Windows 10: Multiline TextBox Issue in Windows 10 1809

After installing Windows 10 1809, the last visible line in the Windows Form TextBox is truncated vertically.


Repro Steps:

1. Create a winforms application with a textbox control.

2.Setting the multiline is true.

3 .Re-size the textbox controls

Actual Results:

the last visible line in the Windows Form TextBox is truncated vertically. See details in the repro gif.

Expected results: the last visible line was either displayed completely or not displayed. (Using 1803)

Issue with using 'return key' in multiline textbox

When I use multiline textbox, I got strange behavier, when I type the 'enter' key, instead of going to next line, the textbox expand to whole form area, still editable, then return key works, and I see two buttons showed below the form: Done and Cancel,
push either one, textbox will back to original shape and size (and if type 'return' key, will expand again), seems 'return' key trigers the textbox internal event, pop up a default form, and whatever I set the acceptsReturn property 'true' or 'false' for textbox,
it functions same.

I use visual studio 8 as development tool, and windows mobile 6 standard emulator, can somebody give me a suggestion?

Windows 10 bug with VB6 textboxes where the multiline property is set to 'True' and Windows 10 is in Tablet Mode

The title should be self explanatory but when:

- Windows 10 is in Tablet Mode

- VB6 application either compiled or in the IDE

- any textbox control where the multiline property is set to 'true'

The textbox always appears with a height of one line.

Has anyone encountered this problem, and is there a work-around?

Thank you Jenith. I have posted the problem in MSDN forums. However, this does not seem to be a VB problem. It only occurs in Windows 10 and only when Windows 10 Tablet Mode is on. A textbox functions normally when Tablet Mode is off and in all other versions
of Windows.
