    Hey all,

    I like having multiple windows of Chrome as well as multiple apps open on my two monitors at one time. All neatly spaced out where I can see them all. Sometimes I need to bring something from the left screen to the right screen, and sometimes this for some reasons minimizes EVERYTHING!! How can I make this stop? It's incredibly annoying.

    Dual monitor setup issues under Windows 10

    Hi,

    Conflicts with the Taskbar settings is one of the possible reasons why some of the minimized apps open on your second monitor. We suggest changing Multiple displays option in the Taskbar settings and check if you will encounter the same issue. You can follow
    the steps below:

    • Right-click on the task bar and press Taskbar settings.
    • Go to Multiple displays.
    • Change the Show taskbar buttons on option to Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open.
    • Restart your computer.

    Usually, you will receive an error when connecting external monitor when the cable is not connected properly. I would suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned in the article
