Windows 10: Multiple attempts to update this garbage KB5005101, all different failure codes leading to...

Okay, I wasted 4 hrs today trying to getting this update to work, so I'm already in a foul mood. Tell me how to fix this. Originally, I attempted to update like a other time, with nothing special. It told me to restart once it had completed its download and installation process. I restarted. It came to the screen"We couldn't finish installing updates. Undoing. Don't restart."So I comply and wait and think I'll try again. It did the same thing. I look into possible solutions and do these things:1. run MalwareBytes 1 signature, quarantined2. run ESET 0 signatures3. attempted a DISM scan DIS

Windows 10 Updates fails to install even after multiple attempts.

The Trick didn't work.





The Security Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3074681) which was available, failed to install. And the same story again..
