No, not at all. I have no idea. Are you getting errors? If you get errors, stop the test. Make sure you downloaded from the link I provided. 16 GB should take 16-18 hours. All of my machines do it that fast. 8 GB will take around 9 hours.

I'm not sure what to tell you. The test runs from Ram. The operating system has nothing to do with the test. It is not even loaded. It is all hardware related.

Do you think it would run better from a disc?

Disk is usually slower than USB.

I've noticed that me test is saying the wrong ram timings to what the manufacturers website says would this make a difference?

I don't think it would. It could cause it to error possibly, but not to run so slow. I would not stop it to change the timings or anything. If you do, you would have to start over. If it did not fix the problem, whatever it is, you would not be pleased about the situation. What does it say your CPU temp is? Could you post a picture of it running? https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1...en-forums.html You can take a picture with a cell phone or anything, as long as we can see what it says.

My cpu temp has stayed at about 7*C
And I don't really feel like starting over just for 1 minor thing

Are you overclocking anything? I don't see how 7C can be right, unless your ambient is below 0C. CPU temp can never be below ambient. It is only possible if you are using Liquid Nitrogen to cool the CPU.

So for now I should let it run its 8 passes?

I guess I would. The dump file said memory corruption, so it needs to be done.
