Multiple differernt BSODS while gaming on multiple games

The crash seems to be caused by the Nvidia display driver, but for some reason I couldn't believe it which is why I checked the unloaded drivers.
Most of them are from Windows, but there are 2 that caught my eye which are Xbox USB drivers and drivers from MSI Afterburner which is the active process when the crash occured.
My suggestion is to update or reinstall the Xbox drivers and remove MSI Afterburner.

Okay well I didn't even know that I have an xbox driver? How do I find out were it is or what to update? And are there any other good programs that do on screen displays for computer information while gaming? As afterburner is the only program I have had good luck with.

In the system root directory is a folder in a folder where you can find the driver.
The path to the file is in the code below.
Code: %systemroot%\system32\drivers\[/quote] Have you ever connected an Xbox device to the PC?

Honestly I wouldn't know, I have never done anything close to it I believe.

Ive never connected anything xbox related just a Playstation 4 controller. Is it the windows 10 xbox app that needs to be updated? Shouldnt that auto update with windows update? I ran this on admin command prompt "sfc /scannow", I dont know if it helps you any but it says it found corrupt files and that it repaired/replaced them. I would attach the CBS file but the forum says the file is to large.

Another lovely BSOD for ya, this time I was not using MSI Afterburner so maybe that will eliminate that as a problem? I'm hoping. Thanks again for all the time you have in helping me.

What mouse and keyboard do you have?

Is a verification of this game already been done?

I have a Microsoft sidewinder x6 keyboard and a sentey nebulus mouse, I dont use the microsoft and mouse keyboard center as it seems to add a lot of extra task that I dont use or need, could that be my issue? I noticed the verification your asking on is the game I play Squad, whats odd is when my PC BSODed I was playing a different game. The events went like this until I got a BSOD, I played Squad while using MSI afterburner for about 2.5 hours and everything worked great, closed the game and closed out of MSI afterburner and started up American Truck Sim along with EVGA precision x, played for about and hour and got a BSOD. So your saying squad caused it? just trying to help/understand. Im 95% sure I did a steam verification on Squad before I started playing it last night to answer your question.

I don't say it is the cause, what I posted is a Windows Error Report (WER) what means the game crashed, but it shows only that the game crashed although it happened at the same time of the last system crash according to some logs. Really quick I can't find any pattern in the WER logs.

Depends on if it was running in the background or not, you can close it but if a service is still running in the background..

I would like you to run a memory test, it is pretty generic that memory causes problems and a test would rule it out *Smile

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Okay ran the Memtest86 for almost 8.5hrs, it went through 9 passes and had 0 errors.

Regarding this, I would suggest to remove everything related that is not required and not needed.

  12. druman Win User
Yes everything related to that has been removed for a while now.

Would it be more likely to fix the problem if I reinstalled Windows? Or will I still have problems?
