Windows 10: Multiple games are not showing the mouse cursor. Windows 11

I use mainly steam, and epic games for downloading my games. This all started pretty soon after having downloaded the windows 11 update one of the additional patches or other things might have also been downloaded, Idk. My cursor shows up like normal in every browser, and inside of every normal tab, but when I try to play a game, it will disappear from view. The cursor works just like normal, still able to click/interact and such, but it is invisible.

Keeping mouse cursor inside a Windowed game?

I'm wondering if there is any method to keeping the mouse cursor within a windowed game, lets take Starcraft 2 for example. I only have one screen and like to play games in windowed mode so I can watch shows/movies right next to it. In a game like SC2, moving the mouse to the border of the screen to move the camera is troublesome in windowed mode. It'd probably make more sense to post this on the SC2 forum, but I can't because my forum account was banned (Inappropriate name if you're curious). So might anyone have any ideas?

 

windows white mouse cursor is showing in some games

the windows white mouse cursor is not going away when i launch some old games like final fantasy 8 and 9, full throttle remastered, day of the tentacle remastered and world of final fantasy. i have to move the mouse to a corner to hide it. in other games the cursor is getting hidden when i launch the game. why is this happening in some games and in others no?

is that because those old games are launched in borderless window mode instead of in full screen mode and that makes the game launch in the background with the mouse cursor on top of it?

 

Mouse Cursor not locking in Games

We appreciate the time and effort you have put in to resolve the issue. I would like to assist you with further information from here.

Sometimes with a multiple monitor setup when you move your mouse from left to right inside the game the mouse can leave the game and move to a different monitor. If while your mouse is on the other screen you click (thinking you are still in the game) it
can alt + tab you out of the game and in some cases crash it.

As an initial recommendation, I would suggest you to define a Keyboard Shortcut to Lock or Unlock Mouse Movements to the Monitor with Mouse Cursor. Once Mouse is Locked to one Monitor, you will not be able to move the Mouse Cursor to any other Monitor unless
you Unlock Mouse by pressing the Keyboard Shortcut again
