Multiple problems with W10 install after BIOS update

Hi, I was doing a fresh install for a friend because her laptop would crash if the screen was closed and noticed she was running v1.0 bios on her Toshiba C50-b-14d laptop. I downloaded the newest version 5.1 from the official site and upgraded the bios. When I installed W10 it would install, and then freeze after the restart. I tried booting in safe but it said I couldn't because windows couldn't complete the install in safe mode. I tried to install again multiple times and the same problem every time.
I went into the bios and changed from CMS to UEFI and reinstalled. This time after the restart it got to the 'Getting Devices ready' screen and froze at 10%.
I have no idea what to try next. Any help would be appreciated.

    :)

    stop win 10 upgrade

I am having the same problem. After multiple attempts to upgrade from W7pro to W10 and continually getting 'memory_management' error, I have given up. Have some updates that I want to run, but no matter what I do to disable W10 from running, it continues
to try and run. Even after uninstalling KB3035583 and re-booting. The W10 icon is gone now from my tool bar, but when I select the updates that I want to install, W10 setup files are what starts.

How do I get rid of W10??

Ends up that the Wifi card has trouble with new bios. Putting the laptop into Airplane mode got the install to finish. That's another problem but I can proceed from here.
