    Multiple random BSODs daily

    Hi guys!

It all started a couple of weeks ago when I had an automatic update. After the computer restarted, it froze for eternity until I have to end some windows program what was not responding (I forgot the name). After restarting the computer, the same windows program would freeze. I had no choice but to revert back the windows update. After successfully (I think) reverting it, I would then experience random BSODs. Sometimes in succession, sometimes just after booting into windows and sometimes after a couple of hours.

I took a picture fo the BSOD twice and here are the errors:

    Stop code: system_service_exception
    what failed: win32kbase.sys

    Stop code: kmode_exception_not_handled

Anyway, for the log collector, here's the link

    ten forums - Google Drive

Reinstalling windows would be the last option because there are programs installed that requires multiple vendor technicians to reinstall their programs and is very costly.

Please help and thanks in advance.

    :)

  2. random BSOD issues multiple times daily

    Hello,

I am getting a BSOD at random multiple times daily. I have run the windbg and can only find a crash related to csrss.exe but I can't figure out how to fix it. This is a new windows 10 Enterprise installation which I was getting BSOD on this computer with windows 8.1 Enterprise so I just wiped it and installed 10 hoping for a fix with a new OS but to no avail. I have updated all of the drivers to the best of my ability.

    Thanks for looking.

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.
A tiny documentation can be found here: Solved Random BSODs - Windows 10 Forums
In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

New PC, random BSODs with multiple stopcodes

Not entirely sure what this means. Is there anything i can do on my end to help with this?

I kind of figured 4 passes twice wasn't really what we wanted so i left it overnight doing another 8+ passes.

I'll continue with the other added steps.
