  1. Multiple Tiled Images Desktop Background

Hello all, Ive hit a bit of a puzzle and was wondering if anyone can help. I Have a dual monitor setup, one landscape 27inch monitor and one portrait 24 inch monitor. I have custom backgrounds on my desktop but the portrait monitor has black bits top and bottom. I know that this is because of the resolution. That is not my problem. I was wondering if it is possible to have multiple pictures on the desktop at the same time like the lock screen sometimes does. I'd like the images to change independently and randomly from my backgrounds folder.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Kind Regards, Prince Llywelyn

    :)

    • Select ‘Personalization’, under ‘Background’ option select as ‘Picture’.
    • Under ‘Choose your picture’ select any picture accordingly or you can browse the picture from your computer.

  3. How do you see the Pictures tile background image?

These steps will change the background of the tile:

    • Open up pictures by clicking the tile
    • in the pictures screen (which says all, date and favorites) tap and hold until a window pops up
    • Choose Change background
    • Select the desired picture form synced pictures or camera roll
    • Position the square exactly how you would like to the picture to appear (it's the size of the "pictures tile")
    • When done select the tick to acknowledge on the bottom of the screen
    • Return to your home screen and check the pictures tile Multiple Tiled Images Desktop Background :)

    Multiple Tiled Images Desktop Background

    Lost desktop background

I did a Search & Distroy spyware scan the other day, and one of the suggested "fixes" said something about removing Active Desktop. Like the muppet I am I clicked yes and am now without a desktop background picture.

Does anyone have an idea how to reverse this? If I try to select a picture it's simply not added as a background.
