  1. Multiple updates for KB4586781

This update was first installed, successfully on 10/11/2020 but it was downloaded again yesterday 23/11/2020 and again this morning I installed it but it did not request a restart on either occasion although it stated in event viewer that it did and I performed a restart and in the Programmes and Features updates list is still showing as being installed on the 10th. It is installing again just now less than 12 hours after the last time.

I am aware that many other users have had problems installing it just once, I seem to have the opposite problem. What is going on, will this continue indefinetely?

    :)

  2. 19042.572 x64, error 0x8007000d on installing November cumulative update (KB4586781)

    Hi Prakhar!

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, none of them worked. Besides, I've already tried installing the update manually, as I've mentioned in the question.

I don't know if it's useful, but specify a local installation (.wim) source didn't work.

    I tried these commands:

    Code:
    DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:(path\to\)windows10.0-kb4586781-x64.cab
    DISM.exe /Online /Add-Package /PackagePath:(path\to\)windows10.0-kb4586781-x64.cab /source:wim:(path\to\)install.wim:1
In which the installation source is a Windows 10 20H2 Pro x64 wim file that slipstreamed all the updates, as the version is
    19042.630.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Multiple updates for KB4586781 :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
