    mutant entry in Start: ms-resource:AppName/Text

    I've been playing whack-a-mole with some problem Store had installing "App Installer". I've finally gotten to the point where it seems to be installed correctly. But now I have a mutant entry in Start that reads "ms-resource:AppName/Text". There is no r-click choce that gets rid of it. It can be clicked on but does nothing.

    Apparently there used to be a "Start Menu Troubleshooter" tool, but none of the historic links to it seem to link to anything now. DISM scanhealth found nothing wrong.

    How do I get rid of this thing short of a) create a new user profile, b) resetting entire install and starting over, c) replacing computer?

    :)

    Phantom app in start menu

    In the start menu I have item named @{Microsoft.WindowsFeedback_10.0.10586.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy?ms-resource://Microsoft.WindowsFeedback/FeedbackApp.Resources/Appname/Text} which can not be deleted nor launched.

    App is not on the get-appxpackage's list also. How do I get rid of it?

  3. Anyone else having problems with the Alarm & Clock App Tile?

    My Alarm & Clock App shows no Icon on the tile and appears at the very bottom of the App list, instead of under A. Also Rather than showing the words Alarms & Clocks it shows:

    @{Microsoft.WindowsAlarms_10.1506.19010.0_x64_8wekyb3d8bbwe?ms-resource://Microsoft.WindowsAlarms/Resources/AppName/Text}

    This also appears at the top of the window when the app is open, is there any way to force a repair on this app?

    Any suggestions?

    MS Defender Won't Load After Upgrade to Windows 10 Ver 1511

    Attempted every step in document provided by Microsoft

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...-windows/808253bb-db89-4db9-a4e5-1c91a86489e9

    Nothing worked, HOWEVER, the last step is to Delete Conflicting Registry Entries. My registry contains one of the entries listed (MsMpEng.exe) however, REGEDIT could not delete this entry as I was directed.

    Problem still exists; as soon as I start MS Defender, it stops.

    Any further suggestions?
