Windows 10: mxvcp140 and runtime140

Hi,


I just downloaded Civilisation 6 on my new computer and it will not open. An error message pops and tells me that it doesn't find MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll


What can I do to fix this ?

missing vc runtime driver

Every time I restart my laptop, I get a note that XXXXXXXX can not be done because vc runtime140 is missing. Is there an easy fix to this?

when I start my computer I get a message saying something about RUNTIME140.DLL isn't installed what's it do ?in support for this it says something about downloading ms visual c++2010 i'vegot a few occurrences of earlier versions 2005-2008-2010-2012-2013
do I need all these or just latest?

 

Error code 0xc000007b

I am running Windows 8.1 on an imac mid 2011 27 inch through bootcamp. I have the latest apple and AMD graphics drivers. I tried to run the Origin setup, but I got the error missing mxvcp140.dll. After I installed that dll from the internet i got another:
missing vcruntime140.dll. I did the same thing, and then got the error code 0xc000007b. I don't know what happened.

Edit: I got it to work. I tried installing microsoft directx and other c++ redistributables, but none of it worked. Then, I installed AC: Black Flag from Uplay, and it automatically installed something (I don't know what it was, either something with VCRedist
or DirectX) and it worked.
