Windows 10: My 3.5 mm jack only detects as an output, when it should be both a output and a input

Suddenly one day this audio jack just "broke" causing me to no longer be able to use headsets, it fully killed the speakers in general then i finally found drivers to fix that but its seemingly broken my headphone portAny way i can fix this?

How to bring up audio jack´s input/output choice window?

My computer has only one audio jack. I need it to work as an input line in, Currently it works as an output. When I plugged audio into the jack, Windows used to ask me whether the jack should work as an input or an output. Now I can´t change that setting.
How do I bring back the window that allows me to change the jack´s input/output choice?

 

Playback detecting Input Devices & Recording detecting Output Devices

Hello!

Today, I was playing SCP: Secret Laboratory. After I finished, I went and made tea. When I came back much later to play some more, I found that the in-game voice chat was not working for me; my microphone was not transmitting in-game.
Looking into my Steam settings, I found that all my input devices were actually my output devices, and all my output devices were actually input devices. I initially thought this was an issue with Steam, so I restarted Steam and my PC.
However, when the problem did not resolve, I looked to my sound settings and found that even in there, my playback devices detected inputs as outputs and recording devices detected outputs as inputs.

How am I able to fix this problem?

The VoiceMeeter inputs and outputs are from a sound managing device called VoiceMeeter Banana that I installed to allow for the creation of virtual line ins.

 

Headphone jack not detecting anything.

My PC does not detect any devices plugged into any of the 3.5mm jacks, and requires a USB connection to output or input sound.
There are no listed devices in the device manager when devices are plugged into these jacks. My question: Is it a hardware or software issue? I have a custom PC, so I cannot contact any manufacturers.
