My audio splitter doesnt work on windows 11

So I bought a splitter for audio because my laptop has only one 3.5mm jack. When I plug it into the laptop, theres some maxxaudio pro popup for selecting one audio device. But I want two at the same time and I cant get rid of it, Does someone know how to solve this?

    :)

Headset microphone (with audio splitter) not working

My Acer Predator (Helios 300) laptop has a singular audio port, which I use with my headset that has a separate microphone and headphone cable. I have used an audio splitter to get around this issue for a while now, and it has worked perfectly fine. Normally
when I would plug the splitter in, a prompt would appear asking what type of device was just plugged in, options were headphones, speakers, microphone, headset, and one or two other options that I don't remember because I never used them. I would select "headset"
and it would work just fine. Recently, something changed. This prompt no longer appears, and my computer no longer acknowledges the microphone on my headset, instead using the default internal microphone. The headphones still play audio like normal, but I
have found no way to get the microphone working.

If I just plug the microphone chord into the audio jack, it still does not work, and the computer refuses to play audio.

    So far I have tried:

    • Uninstalling and re-installing the audio drivers (multiple times)
    • Updating windows
    • Running the audio troubleshooters (Both for playing audio and recording)
    • Checking for updates to Dolby
    • Scanning for hardware changes in device manager
    • Disabling the default microphone
None of these have done anything.

I'm really at a loss here. I consider myself pretty computer savvy but nothing I've tried has gotten me anywhere.

my Docooler wired Condenser Mic for computer audio 3.5mm doesnt work on my windows 10 dell insiprion laptop doesnt work

i tried looking at alot of youtube videos and none of them worked

plus i have a headphone and microphone splitter connected to it and it only works for my headphones bc my laptop only has one connected for headphones only

    i tried these steps:

    attempt 1:

    • i right clicked the volume icon and clicked "Open sound settings"
    • the only thing that shows up in "choose your input mic" is the Microphone (Realtek(R) Audio) which is the built-in mic for my dell insprion windows 10 laptop
    • i checked the "test your microphone" and it only worked from my laptops mic
    attempt 2

    • i searched "microphone privacy settings" in the windows search bar
    • everything is enabled "microphone access" and "allow apps to access your microphone" "allow desktop apps to use your microphone" i enabled them all
    attempt 3

    • searched "control panel"
    • clicked "hardware and sound"
    • clicked the "manage audio devices"
    • went to the "recording" section in my "sound" app
    • i cant find my docooler consender mic in the recording section but i can only see my headphones (Realtek(R) audio connected from my headphone and mic splitter that is connected to my laptop and i have my mic turned on because it has a on and off switch
    attempt 4

    • i used my headphone and mic splitter and turned my mic on with the switch that says on and off and its on "ON"
    attempt 5

    • i updated my laptop
    • i reseted it
    • it didnt work

Windows Audio doesnt work, everytime a restart is required to bring back the audio

    Hi Anthony,

Thanks for providing suggestions. I have tried all the listed troubleshooting before I raise an question over here.

None of the things helped....in few steps it makes Audio work(Only because of the Restart that is made) again if I shutdown my system and start back after couple of minutes/hours audio doesn't work.

    Thank You!!
