    My bitlocker recovery code will not work on my dell laptop


    My dell laptop requires a bit locker recovery code. I found the code but it doesn’t work. Can anyone help?

    BitLocker recovery

    Recent upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. I’m working through a start up issue on my husband’s Dell laptop. The “Support Assist OS Recovery” scan states there’s no hardware issue. Then I was prompted to sign into his Microsoft account (which I did), and following the prompts to copy/paste the BitLocker recovery key, I see that there are 2 devices listed. One device name matches the laptop I am trying to correct. What’s the other device? He does have another new laptop purchased in August of 2021 but the key upload date listed for the unknown device is 2/21/2018. I’m confused. What does the key upload date signify?
