Windows 10: My brightness buttons won't work

I have the newest version of the Surface Pro and the blue-ish keyboard that attaches to it. Earlier this morning the brightness buttons on the keyboard worked perfectly. However, now they won't work. I can go into settings and manually change the brightness, but it is very inconvenient. Every other button on the keyboard functions perfectly. I have already been in Device manager and checked all drivers and keyboards and everything is up to date and functioning properly it says. Please help!

Have tried few steps from youtube videos but did not work.

Please guide.

To adjust the brightness, see the steps below:

• Go back to Power Options, and tick on the High performance.
• See if you can adjust the brightness.

If this not work, we highly suggest that you create an Administrator account, and re-do the steps above.

I would suggest that you perform the steps below and check if it helps your issue:

Step 1: Graphic Properties.

    Right click on the desktop, and select “Graphic Properties”.

    Choose your desired “Mode”.
    
  • 
    Once you have chosen your mode, on the left pane locate and select “Color Enhancement”
    
  • 
    Adjust your brightness and check if it helps.
    

Step 2: Un-install the Graphics driver.

  Click on the Start button, and type “Device Manager” on the search bar.
  
• 
  Open Device Manager, expand "Display Adapters”.
  
• 
  Find and double-click Display Adapters from the left panel to uninstall.
  
• 
  Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.
  
• 
  Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click
  OK to remove the driver.
  
• 
  After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer.
  
• 
  After you have successfully uninstalled the driver, please go to the computer manufacturer’s website, download the Windows 10 Display adapters and Graphics driver for your computer and check.
