Windows 10: My C: disk is completely full even though i have no files on it!!

I have no clue what is taking up all my drives space, all my games and big files are on a different one but despite this my C drive is SOOOO full. its 2gb free out of 476GB and i have no idea what is taking up that space?! is this normal and i’m just dumb?? i don’t know. probably a virus but i can’t find it and i’ve tried every resolution in previous related threads. I have another drive that’s seemingly unaffected? i’ve done a defender scan and malwarebytes scan. nothin! i’m scared whatever possible virus this is it’s like hackin into my ****

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Recovering files

Hi, you would need to describe exactly what you have done step by step as the possibilities in your minimal description are many. We don't even know for sure exactly where your original disk is or what method you have used, so no point suggesting data recovery methods yet.

I could provide a page of questions, but better if you take the initiative as a list
