My computer Dell Inspiron comes with an integrated IR camera. It was working with Windows Hello perfectly fine, however the IR camera doesn´t able more .

Access Integrated IR Camera

Hello,

My computer (Dell Inspiron) comes with an integrated IR camera. It works with Windows Hello perfectly fine, however I want to access the depth output for the IR sensor. Unfortunately, I've been looking around and cannot find an easy way to access the IR sensor. How would I go about doing this? As it stands, the IR camera is completely unusable except for with Windows Hello.

My DELL INSPIRON 15-5578 lists a > Realtek IR Camera Driver
My older Dell's used > Dell Webcam Central

 

My integrated IR camera is not getting detected by Windows Hello

Hi All,

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad P14s which has an integrated IR camera which is Windows Hello ready. My Windows Hello for Business options such as PIN and Biometrics such as Facial Recognition and Fingerprint was working well for more than a year.

But 2 days back my facial recognition stopped working all of a sudden and I started getting below message that "We couldn't find a camera compatible with Windows Hello Face".





Even an external IR camera which was detected earlier and was working even with Windows Hello, stopped getting detected too. I tried mutliple steps to fix this problem but nothing worked so far.

Can someone suggest ways to resolve this Facial Recognition issue?
