    windows 10 update stalled at 90% for over 24 hours

    Windows update has stalled on one of my computers. All I see is a spinning wheel and notice that it's updating currently at 90%. It's been at 90% for more than 24 hours now and I can't get to any other screens to try the fixes that are suggested in response
    to other similar reported issues.

    Installing mandatory Windows 10 upgrades and computer hangs.

    Several times - Reboot restores changes made to computer

    Last time I had to install upgrades few years ago.. Lost my entire C: drive after several instances of computer hanging and trying to restore changes.

    Had to reinstall windows from scratch - lost all software installed on computer
