Windows 10: My computer has been locked says I must call widows support is this correct

My computer has been locked out it says I must contact Microsoft security

Widows 10 - Cannot log in to computer

I had the same problem. Resolved by following instructions below taken from another thread.

If you are referring to the lock screen, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• On the lock screen, click on Ease of access icon next to network connection icon.
• Click On Screen keyboard.
• Type the password and check. (click on the eye icon in the password box to check the password is correct.)

I also suggest you to change the language and check.

• On the lock screen, click on language icon next to network connection icon.
• Click the language to US English.
• Type the password and check.

B3 Phenom support

I checked gigabyte's site on my GA-M57 and it didn't say anything about b3 stepping update, but all of the x3 chips are b3 steppings, so just use the x3 support bios if available.

 

Random Auto-Locking of Computer Screen

Nobody suggested checking out Event Viewer? When your computer randomly locks, search for, and open: Event Viewer Under Windows Logs, Check out: • Application • Security, and • System See if you can find something that states anything that could be related to your computer locking. The newest events are listed at the top of each section, so finding an event log would be pretty easy to find. Hopefully we can find what is causing the computer to lock.
