  1. My Computer Storage is a Mess... And I Can't Fix It.

A while ago I decided to fix up my storage to make it more convenient. My laptop has the C: drive, which is a 256 GB SSD. It also has a 1TB HDD. I partitioned that HDD into two smaller parts, which are now named Data (DMy Computer Storage is a Mess... And I Can't Fix It. :) and Files (FMy Computer Storage is a Mess... And I Can't Fix It. :). My plan was to keep my applications and other important things on the SSD, so as to have faster access to them, and to keep my other files on the two partitions because of their large amount of space.

Now this was a while ago, so I don't perfectly remember what happened, but I believe I attempted to move my documents folder off of the C: drive, and on to either the D: drive or the F: drive. What ensued was utter chaos. My F: drive now recognizes itself as my desktop; I no longer have a desktop, it's just called (FMy Computer Storage is a Mess... And I Can't Fix It. :). If I try to access my F: drive through my file explorer, it shows me what's on my desktop, and any change I make on my desktop are visible on my F: drive, and vice versa. I now have no clue how to clear space on my computer because I can't tell if my F: drive is still it's own partition or if it now counts as part of my C: drive, since the Desktop directory is normally within the C: drive. I've looked up lots of ways to fix it but I don't think anyone else has been dumb enough to try to move directories around without knowing what they're doing.

At this point I'm seriously considering backing up my things and just having my computer reset, because even people I know who are very knowledgeable about computers can't begin to fathom what on earth I did to my poor laptop.

    Please help.

    Thanks.

    :)
