Hello. A couple of weeks ago, my ctrl i shortcut randomly stopped working. I tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling keyboard drivers, updating keyboard drivers, checked for optional windows updates, and plugging in a different keyboard still doesnt work, and nothing works. I was wondering if anyone had this same issue or if anyone has any more potential solutions for me.

Ctrl D shortcut not working

Hello!

Like a week ago Ctrl+D combination suddenly stopped working on my laptop (Windows, Xiaomi RedmiBook pro 14s) in my Google Sheets, then I noticed that the shortcut doesn't work either in Google Sheets, Miro, Google Meet, or Figma. Other shortcuts like Ctrl+A, Ctrl+; etc. work fine. I relaunched my laptop, tried to clear cache and cookies, and updated my system to the latest version (Windows 11).

I have no clue what happened and how to fix that. I hope the community will help me, because I really suffer without the ability to use a Ctrl+D shortcut.

 

how to underline text & change it to BOLD italic in notepad?

notepad is limited in what it can do, you can make a word bold and italic by -

double click on the word (to select it)

select format from the menu, then font

choose a bold italic font from the lists.

as far as I know underline is not an option in notepad.

wordpad has more functionality, (click start and type wordpad).

select the word or phrase and use the following shortcuts ctrl+u (underline), ctrl+b (bold), ctrl+i (italic) or use the icons on the home ribbon.
