Windows 10: My device manager doesn’t have a MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card

My laptop has been randomly disconnecting from the internet, and today it stopped reconnecting altogether. I followed the steps to fix this, but when I went to go find it, it was nowhere to be found. Is that why it stopped working?

Issue with MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card on Asus TUF F15 FX506HM

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a persistent issue with my MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card on my Asus TUF F15 FX506HM laptop, and I'm seeking assistance to resolve it. After starting my PC, the Wi-Fi card works for a few minutes, but then it suddenly stops functioning. The Wi-Fi logo disappears from the control center, and the card vanishes from the device manager. To get it working again, I have to restart my PC every time.

Upon inspecting the Event Viewer, I noticed two errors related to the Wi-Fi card each time it malfunctions:

1. An error from "mtkwlex" with Event ID 5002.
   
2. An error from NDIS with Event ID 10317.
   

I've already attempted several troubleshooting steps, including:

• BIOS reset
  
• Installing the latest drivers for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  
• Installing the latest drivers for the laptop model's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  
• Reinstalling the Wi-Fi card
  
• Removing power-saving settings
  

I've also contacted Asus support, and they suggested a BIOS reset and updating drivers, both of which I've already tried. I plan to reach out to them again, but I wanted to seek the community's advice as well.

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has suggestions on how to resolve this problem, your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.

I get disconnected from wifi very frequently -- MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card

I have the wifi card :

I can't find the problem, even near the network the same thing happens to me. Also, when I'm away from wifi, I can't connect to the network even though it works with all my other devices.

 

Wifi MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card crashes several times made BSOD for my device.

i don't really have this issue since i bought my new laptop gaming. i'm always using lan for networking stuff and recently i'm moving out to a new place, there's no lan access yet so i have to use wireless networking instead. at first everything was fine i connect to my wifi and runs program smoothly. but after i play some games that related to online games the wifi driver disconnect from my device followed by blue screen afterwards. i restart my pc my driver was back. i open up my steam and it's happened again, this time i don't even touch my games, the next time i restart my device i force close my steam and other stuff that using internet. everything was fine then i tried to open up my browser to search the problem and it's happened again. it just won't let me to access any applications that needs internet access.

i'm new into this community and i don't know about computer stuff. maybe someone can help me ? i check on my event viwer and found some errors that might useful :
- Miniport MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card, {632fbef1-93b6-4115-a741-b93ed2f02877}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has detected an internal error | Event ID : 10317
- MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly | Event ID : 5002
- The server {AB8902B4-09CA-4BB6-B78D-A8F59079A8D5} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.| Event ID : 10010

Device : ASUS TUF F15
Driver : MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card | Version : 3.0.1.1264

i tried uninstall / reinstall the driver but it didn't work.
