Windows 10: my disk occupied larger storage than its folder storage combined

Hello, it identified that my storage "used space" is 869 GB but when I try to sum all of the folder storage, it is only used by~ 250 GB.anyone could help me? thankyou

Other folder occupies lot of space in memory. Does it contains system files.? I don't have a option to delete it. Can someone suggest good app to clean the storage.?

 

Negative occupied storage space in 'Other storage'

HI, I have lumia 920. Many of the community guys might be knowing the mysterious 'other storage ' problem. I recently i came across the same problem, but the special thing about it is, it started showing negative storage occupied for other storage area.

I more issue i recently came across is, i had music files on my lumia 920 and suddenly one day i was copying data to some other location and the data suddenly disappeared and lost. What about the storage occupied by that??? that too lost... very interesting.
Now wtever music files u copy to lumia 920, it'll show two records in music.

That's not just MS, Apple is the same way a 160GB iPod is labeled 160GB of storage. Even without the OS and only formatting it's less than that. All MS has to do is prove uniformity with current standards. Does tho MS pad contain a 32GB disk yes then it is no different than a 32GB iPad.

If a judge doesn't agree to that he better get ready for a class action suit because that's the road he is heading down. Oh and the tablet purchased mentions formatted size of disk will be less than advertised...
