    My email, recovery email, and password have all been changed. How can I change back my emails?


    Hi, my account was recently hacked. The hacker changed my email, my recovery email, and my password. I tried to use account recovery and successfully changed the password, however the account recovery form does not seem to support email address changes. I then tried to contact Microsoft but they haven't been much help either. I try to use the "I don't have any of these" button but since I recovered my password, I need to wait 30 days before I can change anything! That's an insane amount of time! If there is any other way to change my emails please let me know! I can log in but I can't access a

    Unauthorized Emails from my account?

    It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

    Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.

    i changed my email password twice, and i will work on changing all of my other passwords.


    is my email safe to use or should i get a new one

    Changed how the TPU forums send email

    I changed my email addy on tpu to my isp provided email and its working fine now.
