Windows 10: My entire screen keeps turning into tablet mode and my touch pad isnt working.

Help please. I am using another mouse to move my cursor.I am using touch keyboard to type.I toggled tablet mode off however it still changed back to tablet mode so i set it to "Don't switch to tablet mode".Even after I did that it still changed back to tablet mode. I did a scan on malwarebytes but it didnt find anything.Please help me.

Keyboard and touch pad not working after using as tablet mode

I have a toshiba convertible laptop, I was using it in both laptop mode and tablet mode. Suddenly after converting from tablet mode to laptop mode the keyboard and touch pad stopped working in windows. The keyboard is functional and working in bios I am able to change the options in bios but when it comes to windows only the function keys are working to change the system settings. The touch pad is also having the same issue.

 

Mouse pad sometimes is multi touch???

My wife also has a Toshiba Notebook and gets frustrated by the Touch pad [not to be confused with a mouse pad] when typing so she keeps it turned off and uses a wireless mouse. Some Touch pads have a "gesture" feature using 2 fingers, especially those with the Touch Screen, similar to SmartPhones and Tablets.

 

Tablet mode touch screen not working

I wanted to try using tablet mode, so I went to Settings < System < Tablet
and then clicked on Change Additional Tablet settings. Next, I turned on Tablet mode. Then I pressed one of the buttons on the taskbar. Nothing happened. How come the touch screen isn't working?
