Windows 10: My GPU has been stopped by Windows, because "it has reported problems. (Code 43)" please...

This occurred when I put too large a load on my GPU, in my gaming laptop, and resulted in a BSoD. Upon restarting my computer I found that my hdmi cable was not transmitting a signal to my external monitor. I investigated and found that my "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060" was showing a yellow triangle error symbol, then upon checking its properties I found the error which I quoted the end of in the title.


The display drivers for both the Nvidia card and the Intel integrated graphics were up to date according to device manager, but there was a GeForce Game Ready driver available for download, as well as a .NET Framework update (KB4522741) from Windows Update. Installed those, restarted my laptop, but now the laptop would get into a boot loop, try to initiate start-up repair, fail, and continue the cycle. I went into boot options to try to uninstall the Quality Update I just installed, but that failed as well, refused to even start.


Tried to use system restore and resetting the windows installation (with keep files selected) but those both failed also, could not complete the action for whatever reason. Booted the laptop to safe mode and uninstalled the Nvidia card from device manager, but on restart the boot loop continues, but ends with a BSoD before it loops again ("nvlddmkm.sys)NOT HANDLED"). Booted back into safe mode and uninstalled the Nvidia drivers as well this time, and now on a restart the laptop achieves a clean boot. Everything on the laptop seems fine, files all in place etc. However the external monitor still doesn't pick up a signal, and there is still the yellow warning triangle next to the Nvidia card in device manager.

The mouse is on usb and works fine. It's just the card reader, for which there are no drivers.

Under Device Manager, both my AMD Radeon R7 Graphics and Radeon (TM)RX 560 Graphics - both devices are showing error message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" I think it's preventing my Inspiron 15 5000 gaming
laptop from running Subnautica (Steam online game) - it was working perfectly fine x 44hrs then I started getting the error message "Your GPU does not appear to be powerful enough" to run game! I tried using Windows Troubleshooter but no luck. Any suggestions??
