My headphone don't show up in Playback or Recording devices.

So I have had this headset for a while now and I have had no problems with it. Then I realized my microphone isn't working. So I looked up all over google and youtube of how to set up a microphone so I was doing that but everything was saying go into Playback Devices and your headphones should be there but they aren't. I even right-click to show Disabled Devices but my headphones still don't work. I can hear perfectly I just don't think the microphone is working because I also have a control panel on the wire of my headset to turn on and off my mic and to turn it up and down but that doesn't work. So I think the laptop is only taking my headphones as a listening device and not a vocal device.

    :)

    • Right-click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Sounds.
    • Under the Playback tab, right-click on the default speakers and select
