Windows 10: MY HOMEGROUP DISAPPEARED

The homegroup function does not work on my computer anymore.


My homegroup function disappeared after the last update and it was replace by Network. I'm trying to share stuff between my computer and my family without using a USB stick just like Homegroup was able to, I think I've tried just about everything. I'm sure it's possible to do it with Network. I'm just not sure how, does anybody know? Please let me know.

• When you say that "I noticed that my Homegroup has disappeared", have you checked the homegroup from the HomeGroup settings present in the Control Panel?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to hide the network discovery of the computer in the shared network.

1. Click on Search bar.

2. Type "HomeGroup" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Check if HomeGroup is available or not.
