Windows 10: my hp pavilion's bluetooth audio sucks

hi

so for the past week, ive been trying to figure out why my bluetooth audio sucks. what i mean by "sucks" is that the bluetooth audio sounds distorted.

the thing is is that when i just plug in my headphones, the audio sounds fine—it's just that the bluetooth isn't. and another thing is is that my laptop's bluetooth audio sounds just fine, so it's not related to my headphones. something seems to be up with my hp's bluetooth audio. here are the specs to the hp: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06693646 and here are the specs to the laptop: https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/...op/inspiron-15-3521_reference guide_en-us.pdf. the hp's windows version is 19042.804 and the laptop's 19041.804

i've already tried doing a bunch of stuff, such as reinstalling the relevant drivers, as well as some configuration stuff in settings, but no go.

im not sure of what to do next at this point. if any of u guys have any ideas, please let me know!

Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

Any suggestions?
