Windows 10: My internet has gotten significantly worse since the newest windows update. Any help?

Ever since i updated two days ago my download speeds have gone from 20-30 mbps to 600kbps, my ping in games has started constantly fluctuating between 60-300ms sometimes spiking into the thousands. The list of problems goes on across streaming and multitasking. As far as i can tell the issue is only on this computer and only cropped up after the update. Also, when I use an ethernet cord my ping is completely fine but that seems to be about the only issue this will remedy.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.

• Select Network Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

As you mentioned that the websites are loading in internet explorer, suggest you to add the website in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persists:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Type the address and press Enter.

3. Click on the Gear icon in top left corner and select Compatibility View Settings from the list.

4. Click on Add and Close.

5. Re-type the website address and press Enter.
