Windows 10: My keyboard types @ instead of " despite my keyboard being set to the UK.

Title says it all, really. I hold shift and 2 and I get @, I hold shift and ' and i get ", despite my keyboard being set to UK.

Keyboard settings (UK layout not working)

I have a UK layout keyboard (shift + 2 is "), but my computer insists on using US layout (shift + 2 is @). I use a Corsair STRAFE keyboard.

• In iCue (Corsair keyboard app), the layout is set to UK.
• In Settings app, the system language is English UK. The Preferred language is English UK, and the keyboard has one layout, English UK.
  • If I add a US keyboard to it, and use Win + Space, two options show up to cycle through:
    • English (UK) - US Keyboard
      
    • English (US) - US Keyboard
• In Control Panel main menu, there is only 'Clock and Region,' not 'Clock,
  Language, and Region.'

Please any help would be great!

Thank you for posting your concern. In some cases, this is happening if your keyboard layout is not configured properly or set to UK keyboard layout. Because in UK keyboard layout it will give you " instead of @ when you press Shift key + 2. Also, this could
also be an issue with the hardware itself. We would like to know more information, please answer the following questions below:

• What is the build version of your Windows? To check it, tpye in winver
  on Search bar and hit Enter.
• When did this issue start?

Meanwhile, you can perform the following troubleshooting steps:

• Change the keyboard layout. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region and language > Click on Add a language and choose English, then choose English (United States)
• Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard.
• You can also run Keyboard troubleshooter. Type in troubleshoot on Search bar and open it, then look for Keyboard and run it.

keyboard types " instead of @ on windows 10

Hi. I'm using a windows 10 operating system. After a system update, for some reason my keyboard started typing " instead of @. All the other keys are fine. I've tried setting the default language to something else and switching back to UK english, removing
the UK english and adding it back, but nothing has worked. Literally everywhere states that its been set to UK english, my toolbar at the right, the control panel etc.

I read on another thread that said to press left ALT + shift to toggle between languages, and it worked for others, but for me it just switches between my UK english keyboard and my chinese keyboard. Going back to the english keyboard still leads to this annoying
problem.

PS: My region is set to Singapore, but I don't think that's the issue, since 1. Singapore uses UK english, and more importantly 2. It has been set to Singapore from the start and it only recently started to type " instead of @.
