Windows 10: My laptop comes up with a blue screen and indicates a "Critical Error"

My laptop comes up with a blue screen and indicates a "Critical Error" It is NOT related to the start menu. It happens during normal use.

1. When exactly the BSOD occurs? Is it while performing any particular function?

2. Did you make any recent hardware or software changes on the computer?



This blue screen error indicates that the kernel has detected critical kernel code or data corruption.
A blue screen error (also called a stop error) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly.

Method 1:

I suggest you download and install all the available Windows Update. Also install all the latest device drivers from the computer manufacturer website.

Before we proceed I would like you to answer the following question:

• 
  What is the make and model of your computer?
  
• 
  Did you make any changes prior to the issue?
  

The issue might occur due to Viruses, or something changing/deleting in Registry Files, a failure during Bootup, or a corrupt file which could be due to age of a computer or viruses or somebody tampering with files.

Blue Screen Problems

Hello all. I have been plagued with frequent BSODs on my main computer. (see system specs for details) I am getting "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area", or the 0x50 stop error, blue-screens.
What I read on Google suggested that this blue-screen indicated a memory or hard drive error. I ran memtest86+, which passed, and chkdsk, which found no problems. I took all of my components down to stock clocks, and that didn't help. Does anyone have any experience or advice as to what I should try next?
