Windows 10: My laptop has been stuck on “Working on updates 7% complete”

I switched my laptop on and it started updating but it has been stuck on 7% for a very long time. i have tried force restarting it but that didn’t work. I don’t think it needs more time because i left it to update over night but it is still on 7%. how do i stop the update?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Sony vaio laptop keyboard not working after update to windows 10

Having tried all the suggestions listed against this topic without success I am completely stuck. I have successfully updated from 7 to 10 but now have no function on the laptop keyboard. I can use the touch pad but that is my only access.

My laptop was stuck while I installing the update

Running OS is win10,and lotof update list I downloaded, when I tap to "Restart Now" it goes to installing process and so on , but after till 2 hour laptop not start , only the cursor show and keypad light ON ,

Should I go through Long press power button, or any other way please suggest me , no keypad function working
