Windows 10: My laptop is not having any com port in it.

Hello Sir, I am A coding student and i love to code on the pcb making new things . Suddenly i Noticed a problem in my Laptop , I cannot flash any data into PCB cuz my laptop was not showing any COM ports in it. I searched the web and this microsoft portal too. and didnt find anything at first. Then i thought of Resetting my laptop so it can work properly , But also after resetting , The issue persisted . Then i found a way of adding any driver manually . so i added COM ports manually using the "Add legacy hardware" . The COM ports got added but then they were showing some error. I troublesh

USB 2 port not working in Windows 10 on Samsung Notebook

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Since all the USB ports are working and the problem is with the USB 3.0 port in the right side of the laptop, then this issue is with that particular port.

You can contact the manufacture of the laptop to get it done.

As a workaround, I suggest you to Run Hardware troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow these steps to run hardware troubleshooter.

• Type troubleshooting
  in search box.
• Select view all on the top left pane.
• Click on Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter and follow the prompts to
  run the troubleshooter.
