Windows 10: My laptop keeps disconnecting from the internet.

Earlier this month, my laptop I own an Asus TUF laptop with windows 10 began disconnecting from our wi-fi at random, and refusing to let me reconnect if I open the internet access in settings or on the taskbar, no networks will show up, and if they do show up, if I click connect, it will immediately respond with "could not connect to this network.", with the only way to reconnect being to restart my laptop. At times it's completely random, though I've noticed that it happens every time I boot up a game on Steam. I've updated drivers, changed settings in drivers, updated my laptop, restarte

• Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Are you able to connect through wired connection?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
• Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article

Toshiba Laptop - Internet disconnects, frequent disconnects

I will keep that suggestion for older drivers in mind. As the Internet is working as of now I cannot say if the problem is truly fixed.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Network Troubleshooter and check, if this helps.

• In the search box, type ‘Troubleshooter’, and then click ‘Troubleshooting’.
• Under ‘Network and Internet’, click ‘Internet Connections’
• Follow the on screen instructions.

Step 2: Update Network Adapter.

• 
  Right click on Start button, type
  Device Manager and Enter.
  
• 
  Now click on your Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Right click and click on
  Properties, and go to Driver tab and click on Update driver.
